Countdown!

Less than two weeks now!


I added a countdown at the bottom of the page to help keep track of time until I leave Lubbock. I can't believe it's getting that close. So today I went and bought my first Euros! I put a few pictures of the euros I bought for anyone who wants to see what euros look like and didn't know before (like I didn't know until I bought them).There's a picture of the front and the back of a 5, 10, and 20 euro bill.
I also set up an online travel journal that people can follow where I go, but I haven't quite got that figured out, so please be patient with me.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas and I'm going to just keep counting down the days......

Preparation

Hi everyone!

So an update on getting ready for Spain.

Today I went to pick up my passport from the Office of International Affairs. It has a nice, shiny new student Visa stamped in it. I also found out that I received a $1915 scholarship from the Study Abroad center at Tech, which is really going to help. I bought my ticket for the high-speed train from Madrid to Seville on January 6th. I'm so exited! I can't wait to get to Seville a day early so that I can go explore a bit and post some pictures. I depart in less than a month! So now I am just going to focus on my packing list, making sure I have all my things in order, and getting a travel duffel bag to take with me. So I will keep updating as I get more information! Talk to you all again soon!

Starting the Blog

Hey everyone!

This is the blog I've created to keep in touch with everyone while I am in Spain. I will try to update as often as I can and put up pictures as well. I hope you guys enjoy reading about my adventures in Spain! I love you all!
